Jen Flo

Jen Flo is passionate about ensuring all students have access to opportunities for learning through well-designed programs and services that reduce the predictive power demographics and geo-location have on student outcomes.  An educator for over 25 years, Jen has worked in a variety of roles in public and private school settings.  It was during her tenure as an enrichment teacher, where she began to really understand the unique needs of gifted and talented students. Recognizing a need to bring professional learning closer to home, she joined a cadre of trainers (a joint venture with WAETAG, OSPI, and Whitworth University) supporting educators across Washington state.

As an enrichment teacher, general education educator, district coordinator, and differentiation specialist, Jen was driven by her own need to learn. She pursued a second master’s degree, with a focus on Gifted Education, where she focused on program evaluation. Jennifer serves as immediate past president of The Washington Association of Educators of the Talented and Gifted (WAETAG).
